Samaritan Center

No One Goes Hungry

The Samaritan Center's a nonprofit mission that's serves and feeds the hungry that began in 1981. What started as a church organizing emergency food services has turned into a non-denominational independent organization that serves any people in need. The Center values sound nutrition and how this can have a positive effect on individuals who are struggling. Providing meals seven days a week, no questions asked. They serve nearly 300-400 people a day. The Samaritan Center is run by a very small staff of 9 people and a group of volunteers that dedicate their time to helping feed others.

Crest Acura Involvement in the Community

The center's goal is not only to feed the needy but to help them with any resources they have available to help get them back on their feet. They help people find jobs, lawyers, and housing, so many of the resources they need to get their confidence in humanity back. Other necessities such as food and toiletries are collected to give to those in need of them.
